The third in the series of the Peak district ultras Peveril 33 took place this weekend and takes in some of the best views in the national park. From the high edges that run along the eastern side, to the deep dales that plunge, canyon-like, through the high farmland in the area.
There were 2 Peelers in attendance of the 33-mile course Martin Hollamby (pictured left) came first place with an incredible time of 5:37:48 and Luke Collins was not far behind him in an amazing 11th place with a time of 6:38:16 . Amazing effort guys!
Park runs were well attended this Saturday both at the two local events and further afield
Tamworth castle grounds saw Allen King and Matt Salisbury achieving their PBS at 21:43 and 21:56. Followed closely by Chris Bennett at 23:16 and Roger Lloyd 24:17

Sarah French decided to swap her running shoes for a wetsuit this weekend and braved the cold waters of Lake Windermere swimming one end to the other (an 11 mile distance in an incredible 7hrs and 36 mins), An incredible achievement, well done Sarah.
