The Club has a new Couch 2 5k course starting on Monday 10th September at 7.15pm at the Tamworth Snowdome. The course will last for 9 weeks and you will need to commit to running 3 times a week. Each session will be led by our qualified coaches and last around 30 minutes, including a warm up and warm down. The cost of the course is #10, which is payable on the first night. During the first session we will give you an introduction to the course and there will be an opportunity to ask any questions that you may have.
The course is open to all abilities and ages from 12+, although anyone under 16 will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Don’t worry about not being able to keep up, we encourage everyone to run at their own pace and will run back to keep everyone together. The course will finish with a ‘graduation’ at the Kingsbury Water Park parkrun on a Saturday morning. If interested please see our Facebook public group ‘Peel Road Runners Beginners’ and ask to join the Group. We can then provide you with further information ahead of the start date.
Lastly to wish club member Sophie Galloway a very happy 21st birthday!
