Weekly Round Up – 29nd October 2018

There were ghostly goings on at a distinctly wintry Kingsbury Water park run on Saturday morning with many runners dressing up in fiendish halloween costumes to add some atmosphere to proceedings.

First home for the Peelers was Martin Hollamby in 22.26 minutes, accompanied by his daughter in a pram! Next home was Garth Cox in 24.35 followed by Mark Boffey (24.54), Dave Fern (25.42), Jackie Tierney (27.53) and Ian Grigg in 29.37. New member Wendy Bowery was next home in 35.14, followed by Lisa Fletcher (35.31), Caroline Evans (36.31), Simon Gordon (37.20), Darren Cotton (37.26) and Allan Williams in 38.25 mins.

On their travels were Andrew Pickard who completed the Sheffield Concord parkrun in a very impressive 20.43 mins, securing sixth place overall. Closer to home Marie Llewellyn completed the Conkers parkrun in a very respectable 22.59 mins.
