Weekly Round Up – 18th November 2019

This week marked a threshold for the club as we reached 100 active members for the first time. This puts the club in a healthy position for the future.

With Kingsbury Water Park once again only suitable for swimming, enforced parkrun tourism was the order of the day on Saturday morning.

The best attended was the Conkers parkrun with Andrew Pickard first home for the club in a time of 21.23 mins. Sophie Galloway (32.06), Alison Dolphin (37.35) and Chrstine Norris (39.37 mins) also enjoyed the outing.

Garth Cox was first home at the Bedworth event in a time of 24.10 mins, ahead of Emma Whorwood (34.02) and Wendy Bowyer (34.16). The Rutland Night 10k event took place on Saturday night. The event was won by Ash Baldwin in a new personal best time of 35.32 mins. Sarah French also ran, finishing in 1:14.39 hrs.
