Accompanied by Trevor the Bear for the last time, Michael broke through all the mental and physical barriers and managed to complete the scenic 26.2mile route in a time of 4:43:43hrs.

Also taking on the Snowdonia mountains were Carolyne Browne who training efforts was rewarded with a finish time of 4:56:18hrs, Helen Manton who crossed the finish line in a time of 5:36:15hrs and Martin Candy with a time of 5:44:40hrs.
